We are a full service quilting shop that also specializes in machine embroidery. Our selection of fabrics, needles, threads, stabilizers, books, notions, and embroidery designs, shows our dedication to provide central Iowa with the very best quality products. This excellence continues with our brands of sewing machines and sergers. We are proud to be an authorized dealer for Baby Lock. New to our store in 2003 is The Retreat Center, which adjoins the rear of our store and has its own private entrance. We have transformed 2 office spaces into a sewing center and an upstairs apartment into sleeping quarters for 9. This home away from home, comes supplied with bedding, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen which means the only thing you need to bring is your sewing machine! Our store offers a variety of classes and clubs for every person. You will find unique classes such as fabric painting, glass painting, computer 101, and scrapbook sewing, to more recognized classes like machine quilting. Check our class schedule for dates and times. Additionally, we provide free guide classes for all sewing machines and sergers purchased in our store.
