I decided to start this blog with the idea of sharing my love of sewing, quilting, polymer clay, scrap booking, painting, photography . . . . . ok so I have a problem . . . . I love all things creative!
With that in mind I will do my best to stay focused with each post and only cover one project at a time
(that's hard for someone who has more then one container of unfinished projects!).
My plan is to create a data base of instructions of how to use your sewing machine or serger to embellish your projects. To start I will be using the Block of the Month I taught in my store several years ago. They are traditional basket blocks with a twist, all of them have some type of machine embellishment. I loved teaching the different techniques and of course using batiks with black fabric as the background how could you not love it!
First block watch the next post for instructions on how I created the yellow
fabric.
